Jonas Bogoshi is a determined and principled leader. He came from humble beginnings and believes that when challenges face a company, employees need clarity from an honest and transparent leadership team. Jonas was appointed to his current role in June 2018 and brings his deep knowledge and expertise of the ICT sector to our organisation.
Jonas wants to see BCX building an agile ecosystem through partnering with small and medium-sized companies, to build on partnerships already established with bigger players in all sectors of the economy. He views our customers as partners and sees our role as not only reinventing the customer experience, but also to create new solutions so that we can future-proof the businesses we work with. One of Jonas’s goals is to see BCX providing effective and efficient pay-per-consumption services when migrating clients into cloud computing, and then encouraging customers to invest the resultant savings in digital transformation.
With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, Jonas has more than 28 years’ experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. Before joining BCX he was Country Manager for data storage giant EMC Corporation. When Dell acquired EMC in 2016, Jonas took on the role of Channel Lead in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. He has served as Vice President of Sales at T-Systems, Chief Executive Officer of GijimaAST, Chief of Strategic Services at the State Information Technology Agency (SITA), and as Commercial Sector Manager at Cisco Systems.
