As Acting Chief Executive Officer of BCX, Hasnain brings deep operational insight and transformation experience to guide the organisation through its next phase of performance and growth.
Over the course of his career, Hasnain has played a pivotal role in scaling complex businesses and driving large transformation programmes. He was instrumental in doubling the scale and EBITDA of the Mobile stream’s business, overseeing network expansion and leading the migration of the residential broadband portfolio from legacy infrastructure to next-generation networks.
Over the past year, he has led Telkom Business commercial operations in close collaboration with BCX, ensuring strong strategic alignment and continuity as the organisation advances its One Telkom vision and expands beyond traditional connectivity revenue streams.
Hasnain is a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) accredited by SAICA and a Certified Internal Auditor through the Institute of Internal Auditors. He has also completed the Executive Development Programme at Wits Business School. His combination of financial rigour, commercial acumen and transformation leadership positions him to strengthen BCX’s operational resilience while accelerating its evolution into a diversified technology solutions partner.

With more than 10 years’ progressive experience in financial management, Modise brings a wealth of expertise across finance, commercial operations, and business transformation. His career has spanned various leadership roles where he has successfully managed complex P&L responsibilities, driven strategic pricing initiatives, and led high-performing finance teams.
At BCX, Modise has held executive positions for over two years, where he has been instrumental in leading major strategic initiatives, including significant acquisitions and exclusive international partnerships. His commercial acumen and strategic financial leadership have positioned him as a key driver of BCX’s growth and transformation agenda.
His expertise encompasses financial strategy, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, sales operations, and enterprise performance management. Modise has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results, including substantial improvements in sales productivity and margin optimisation across diverse business environments.
