Our impact
beyond business
At BCX, we believe technology should improve lives. Our commitment to social impact is rooted in creating real opportunities for people, businesses and communities across South Africa. We focus on building a more inclusive, resilient future by investing in skills, supporting emerging businesses and expanding access to opportunity. This includes making future skills such as coding more accessible to young people, enabling small and growing businesses to participate meaningfully in our value chain, supporting tech start-ups through innovation funding and contributing to the upliftment of education through initiatives with the Telkom Foundation.
For us, impact is personal. Behind every opportunity is a person with ambition, potential and a story. By adopting a human-centred approach to technology, we aim to create lasting change that goes beyond business and makes a difference where it matters most.
Empowering new suppliers and innovators
At BCX, we are committed to building a more inclusive and sustainable digital economy by creating opportunities for emerging businesses and entrepreneurs to grow. Through our partnerships and programmes, we support small businesses and innovators to develop, scale and contribute meaningfully to the economy.
Alongside this, our Innovation Programme supports tech start-ups as they move from idea to impact. Through a structured incubation journey, we help entrepreneurs build, refine and scale solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, data, connectivity and cybersecurity, equipping them to become future-ready suppliers in our ecosystem.
